First off, I don’t often post inspiration on here. I’m not sure why, but I’m going to today because I have fallen in love with the work of Matthew Brookes.
Matthew’s work is the closest I’ve found to what I aspire my fashion work to look like– basically, like life. Love it.
So this is pretty big season for me. I recently wrapped up a couple of shoots that I was incredibly excited about with Native Son, Apolis Activism with Charity Water and CITTA (which brought me to David Byrne‘s studio). In the mean time I’ve been actively pursuing 2010 bookings through the studio I’m now represented through, and I’m about to finally have my own wonderful office space in DUMBO in Brooklyn (right next to the bridge).
With the addition of my upcoming apartment move, there’s a lot going on! I’m off to the airport right now for an LA shoot, and more then ever am attempting to perfect the art of working (answering e-mails and phone calls while running through airport terminals) literally on the go.
Oh, and did I mention I started French lessons? Souhaitez moi bonne chance!

yeah, these pictures are basically like life. Angular 20-somethings in immaculate clothing who take brief excursions from their dusty Victorian libraries to walk around with hardback books.
if you read any fashion magazines, you would know what i mean.
You have Andrew instead of Matthew in your link… great stuff. Love the desaturated look.
