The desert has always been a huge source of inspiration for me and for my photography. I’ve been there time and time again either with friends, or alone. This past trip to California I spent a day there with Laurel and Hillary. Something about this trip was particularly special. I haven’t been up to the desert in California with Laurel in a while– and we both share a similar fascination and draw to the desert. Additionally, Hillary has been sick and to be able to get out and go on a creative adventure was, I think, really good for her soul– which was in turn really good for Laurel’s and mine.
I’m almost finished with Day 4 of my Haiti series. I’ll be posting it tonight or tomorrow… but until that’s up, enjoy:
