Well, it’s still raining in New York City. And it looks to continue to for the next 48 hours. I don’t mind it as long as I’m not out in it (which is sort of unavoidable here). In the mean time, to get my mind on spring-things– and in honor of daylight savings time and an extra hour of sunlight, here’s a few shots from my recent trip to California. I met a friend for breakfast at The Kettle in Manhattan Beach– best honey-bran muffins in the world. He’s working on set right now from 6 AM until 8 PM every day, so in order to meet up, we had to meet at 5 AM. At 5:45 AM, I took a walk along the pier to watch the sunrise, and see the little groms paddling out for some decent sets.
