The Pearl of the West Indies

I’ve been working hard to try and get all of my images/stories from Haiti ready… but I’m having some difficulties with my slideshow/website and need to spend a little time to get it right. However, I did want to get something up in the mean time so I can start sharing these stories and experiences with all of you. So here are a few images from my trip.

Please keep in mind that there are lots of words/images to come, but here’s a little taste of what my eyes have seen. Stay tuned for more.

  14. It is with heartbroken that I gone through all the disturbing images I saw here. I am deeply sorry that I can’t be of any help at this time, but I am reassuring my brothers and sisters in Haiti that I will be with them to go through this crisis to help them move on.
I am disturb when I go on Facbook and witness a lot ao Haitians talking crap day in and day out when this situation esixted especially when we see that a child has his leg amputeted for whatever reason. With the scarcity of resources in Haiti I am sad to see this child’s life going to waste when help are no longer available. I ask God to give me strenght to go to the program I started now getting my master in Social Work so that I can devote my time to my country

    sincerely,
    Effel
