The older I get, the more I begin to appreciate not just where I’m going– but where I came from. While I was home over break I looked at some slides of pictures my dad took when he was traveling in Europe years ago. It’s weird to see pictures of your parents when they were young (he’s younger then I am now in these pictures). But it was even more weird to see my dad standing with his luggage at the airport (I think JFK?), and then looking like an East Village hipster while he travels around Europe.

Then I was born. Somehow this contraption was involved... scary.


Then I became a complete stud.

And the rest is history...
