After a crazy week of juggling post-production for jobs that I need to wrap, meeting with clients, and running errands, ON TOP of working every extra second of my day and night on “Shake the Dust,” I’m ready for some R&R… Although I’m not sure it’s coming any time soon.
Seriously not complaining. Busyness means business and more importantly– it means that I’m finally working on a project that I really care about.
Walking away from 5 days of shooting “Shake the Dust” with Patrick, I feel a little overwhelmed, but also really excited and motivated. There is a lot of work to be done, and the concept for the film needs some re-working and fine-tuning, but overall I’m really happy with things. I’ll be excited to share more details about this project in the future, as I feel that I’ve been relatively vague thus far, but in the mean time look for a fun little video we shot on Saturday to go up on the / shake the dust site soon.
It’s been an incredible experience thus far to be immersed in the b-boy world. I’ve met so many great people– TONS of b-boys, choreographers, writers, MC’s, DJ’s, and many of the mother’s and father’s of hip-hop in New York City. I’m excited for the year ahead as I continue to pour myself and my heart into this film.
