Phoenix & Passion Pit
Phoenix & Passion Pit

My computer battery is about to die and I’m a couple miles above middle America (first in-flight blog post?) so I just want to get these images published. Great show last night– Phoenix & Passion Pit in Central Park. Passion Pit was great, but Phoenix was INCREDIBLE. Such a good show. Enjoy these images from [...]

The Vacaville Sessions.
The Vacaville Sessions.

Nothing to post of my stuff today.  But a real treat instead… While on the bus to the odd Tiki Bar we went to in Staten Island, all 7 of us took a turn on my iPhone to have a listen to the song you’re about to lay ears on.  A song sent to us [...]

Out my front door…
Out my front door...

Fellow blogger, photographer, and, especially, long-time friend, Laurel, was in town this last week. With a lot of work that I was trying to get done, I made sure I worked through the mornings, and then each afternoon headed out for some amazing adventures in the city. We hit up so many great New York [...]

Up on the roof.
Up on the roof.

This past weekend was jam packed with goodness. I put my camera down (except for my father’s old Konica and some rolls of 1600 slide film) and just enjoyed the absolutely glorious weather. Saturday, in particular, was amazing. We had a wonderful breakfast at Janelle’s new home in Cobble Hill. Delicious eggs, potatoes, coffee, orange [...]

BBQ.
BBQ.

Well, it was the last one of the summer… but at least I made it to one of Vic’s BBQs  before the leaves changed.  Not all of these pictures are mine.  The camera was passed around a bit.

Life in New York
Life in New York

Having the iPhone handy at all times has meant that I stop a lot more and capture moments in the city that I would otherwise notice but pass by.  A few of those…

Samuel came to town this past weekend to shoot a wedding and was here for a couple of days after. Monday we grabbed breakfast and then sat editing/sorting at Ira’s all day.

Christening the new place.
Christening the new place.

Friday night Janelle (who’s moving to New York next week), Erin, Jon, and I had a gypsy-style dinner at our new place. It felt like the official christening, and hopefully the first of many dinner parties to come.

I’m back (sort of).
I'm back (sort of).

Not posting this last week has been really unsatisfying. I’ve just had gobs of photos from over the past month or so piling up– from personal and work-related shooting. And now, with a computer to use (for now) thanks to Eric, I’m trying to get back on top of things. I apologize in advance for [...]

Good news & Bad news
Good news & Bad news

It’s actually a bad-news-good-news-bad-news sandwich.  My beloved “transformer” phone– the G’zOne phone that’s gotten me through the thick and thin of this last year… The phone that I’ve been able to surf with, drop in the toilet, drop down the stairs– finally went kaput (bad news).  So I marched down to the meatpacking district Apple [...]

Our new place.
Our new place.

Okay folks, this is it.  After 1.5 years of roaming, couch hopping, living out of a suitcase, and crashing for short stints in sub-let situations, I (as well as Jon) have signed a 1 year lease at a wonderful apartment in wonderful Harlem. We… LOVE our place.   As you can see by the smile on [...]
