I was lucky to have a correspondent at the 2009 Biennale in Venice, Italy a couple weeks ago. Good friend, former roommate, current pseudo-roommate, traveling companion, shooting partner, and sometimes boss (whew), Ira Lippke, took a recent break after a long 5-wedding month to check out the Biennale before heading over to the South of France for a few days of picnicking and frolicking. Ira is an unbelievably talented photographer and I’ve learned a lot from him. Honored to have him hook me up with some photos. I even equipped him with an official Loose Luggage press badge (like he needed it… ha).
