(Probably) the only time I’ll post pictures of just flowers (maybe)

…at least this spring (I think).

I’m not usually inclined to photograph flowers. That’s been done. But my friends will tell you that I do love to garden, love to stop and smell the flowers, have had a garden in my previous two houses, and plan on having a garden in the next apartment I move into this summer. In fact, I would probably live in a closet in exchange for having a garden to work on.

Spring is here. And this a great time to be in New York. Yesterday was pouring rain, today is gloomy and chilly, but it’s still mild compared the snow storms of 3 or so weeks ago. It was great to explore New York this morning after the rain. It smelled great outside– and the city was an absolute graveyard of broken umbrellas (including my own).
