At least I’m home safe…

It’s 2 AM, and it’s one of those nights that I’m just not that excited about the New York City Metropolitan Transit Authority. Usually, I love those guys. But tonight they annoyed me. After pasta and salad at my friend Bonnie’s apartment in Brooklyn, I headed out for home (a bit late… 12:30 let’s say?). The F-train had gone wrong and veered off onto the G-train’s route (what?) and then I got on the A train going the wrong directions and… the point being: it’s been a long night. And here I am at 2:11 AM, ready to go to bed. I brought my camera, so I took some pictures while I was in transit. Don’t worry, I had my ugly vinyl bowling-ball bag with me to conceal my expensive camera on my late-night Brooklyn adventure… although there wasn’t a soul around to bother stealing anything from me.

  2. …i got separated from Jim on the underground in London…the door slammed in Jim’s face…i rode on…not knowing where i was going or where jim was (this was before cell phones)…we eventually found each other…Jim thought i knew the subway rule…if you get separated, get off at the next stop, etc….but i didn’t know that rule…and who wants to get off at some random stop in a very large city…alone at night…anyway…. home safe at last is a feeling i had when i saw jim’s face at our B & B
