Good morning Cornwall. Morenstow, England.

The other day after getting up to photograph the early morning milking at the Johns farm, Gareth and I went for a walk through the nearby countryside so I could photograph the first light of the day. I still maintain that one of the best times to see any new place is early in the morning. Everything is quiet and generally still. It’s almost like you can catch a glimpse of where you are before it notices you’re looking.

  2. I agree… great photos… don’t you love the narrow roads with the hedgerows growing up so high you can barely see over them… and the sheep… I never knew there were so many kinds of sheep… i loved their faces… i agree about sunrise… whilst (the English) living in Winchester, i rose early to drive to Hursley for work and caught the early morning light and quiet of the countryside along the way… peaceful, comforting, lovely… do the English get so used to it they don’t feel that way anymore? i doubt it… i think they know they’re blessed with a wonderful land
