Still reeling from the loss of the use of my left shift button, I was certainly ready for a bit of a break from the busyness of London. Josh and I made our way across to the county of Cornwall, to the town of Bude. We’re staying for the next couple of weeks on a dairy farm, basically in the middle of nowhere. Apart from it just being a needed change of pace, a break for our wallets, and a different slice of England, Josh and I are working on a writing project and this is the perfect place to do that.
We went for a walk in the rain tonight right as evening hit. The rolling countryside was green and lush and beautiful. Gareth and his family, our hosts while we’re here, have been quite hospitable, serving up a delicious meal for tea (dinner). Tired from our trip, we sat by the fire for a bit and watched the tele and are now heading off for a much need night’s sleep.
Here’s a few moments from our journey…

Our home town for the next 2 weeks:

What a cool experience… so much better than just being a tourist. Fodder for that novel you’ll write someday.
