Well, I’ve now spanned the length of the country, from sea to shining sea on 2 separate Amtrak trains. Tonight I arrived in NYC and, after a debacle getting in to Ira’s apartment (where I’ll be living starting in February), I’m settled in. It was a great train ride– past fields and fields of snow-covered emptiness.
I’m going to head off to bed soon, but here’s a couple of pictures I snapped on the train ride from Indiana to here. It was kind of a blur, literally and figuratively, and these pictures kind of show that.
