Day 6. Istanbul, Turkey.

It’s late here in Istanbul and my eyes are weary.  My trip has been incredible and jam-packed with so many activities, sites, sounds, and people…. and FOOD.

Tonight I went to a dinner with a bunch of other non-turkish people to Mine’s (Me-nay) house for a massive Turkish meal.  They certainly know how to feed you over here.  Every time I’ve eaten with a family or friend, I’ve stuffed myself full of food until I was nearly sick, and THEN out comes the tea, coffee, and dessert.  (And these are not small desserts.)  I’m not complaining… Turkey’s my kind of place.  A country that knows how to feast!

Tomorrow I’ll board a plane to the Netherlands for a short layover and then I’ll be in London by evening.  It will be a change of pace as I prepare for the holidays… maybe some rest and relaxation?

Today Sylvester took me to his friends recording studio where I took some pictures for their website.  I put the camera away for most of the day so this is all of I’ve got!

  1. Have a great time in London!
