Day 4. Istanbul, Turkey.

Wow. This city is so beautiful. Today was kind of a long, but great day. I spent the first half of the day working to pass out clothes to refugees. That was interesting and kind of hectic. We were passing out brand new donated sweatshirts and I was mobbed by a Somalian, two Congolese, and a Rwandan refugee. Nothing serious. It was more humorous then anything. They just really liked that XXL white-and-black Japanese hoody.

After that I grabbed coffee with Bob and then went and helped out (with Dorcas) at Dave’s English class. (This entailed playing Catch-phrase with his students while he administered a verbal test individually in the hall.)

Two great things (among many here): Döner, and Turkish coffee.

“George Bush!”
