Last night I had a great time shooting the Dr. Dog and Delta Spirit show here in Portland. Before I posted the photos from the show I wanted to highlight the venue. I was really impressed with The Doug Fir Lounge. For a mid-sized venue, it was spacious and cool, with an incredibly friendly staff– from the manager to the bar tenders. One of the best things, however, is the overall interior design of the restaurant. It has this incredibly retro yet very woodsy feel. I loved it. They are open 7 nights a week with (I think) shows every night. Check it out!
