Tonight I was in need of inspiration. Just felt kind of a blah. I’ve been editing hundreds, sometimes thousands of photos every day and it sometimes begins to wear on me. So I watched Breakfast at Tiffany’s (Audrey Hepburn can’t help but inspire me) on the new iTunes after listening to the Four Season’s “December 1963″ (which I bought after seeing Jersey Boys recently in Vegas) and then sorted and uploaded some of the following images:
I found a beautiful store in Phoenix earlier this summer that sold second-hand… everything. More specifically they had gobs of old magazines and books. They were having a going-out-of-business sale so I grabbed handfuls of old adds and a couple of issues of “Show” magazine. If anyone has any info on this magazine, let me know. I can’t find info on it online and I loved the issues from the 60s that I picked up. So these are some of the images that most inspired me out of the lot: fonts, photos, designs, colors… i like.
This post is dedicated to (and is in the spirit of) another one of my favorite bloggers, designer/musician Scott Hansen over at iso50.

Inspiring Design! I love the visual statement that can be made with such a controlled Palate and 2 fonts. So playful and sophisticated.
