Outside Lands and home for a bit.

I’m sorry for my prolonged absence from this blog. It’s been a whirlwind couple of days. After working with my cousins on their farm for a few days (and getting a little sick in the process) I booked a last minute ticket back to California. I decided I really need to “touch base” back in my home town of Long Beach. On my way in I surprised a bunch of my friends who were at their 3rd and final day of the Outside Lands music festival in San Francisco. After 3 buses, 2 planes, a taxi, a bus, a train, a bus, and two more trains, I finally made it to them this past Sunday morning. It was a fun surprise and it was so good to see everyone. It was also great to see Wilco, Broken Social Scene, Rogue Wave, Andrew Bird, Bon Iver, and Stars.

I made a little video here from my time at Outside lands. I’m still getting used to editing videos on a time crunch so I apologize that its pretty shotty. I’ll do better in the future.

I’ll be laying kind of low for the week but there’s some exciting stuff coming up and I’ll keep you all posted with the news very soon. Enjoy the vid.

PS: the first song in the video is Delta Spirit’s “People C’mon.” Also, the clip in the middle is of my friend Laurel realizing I was not in Boston but was in fact in San Francisco.
