Hodgdon, Maine 1

I’ll be spending a week here, in Hodgdon, Maine. It was only a month ago when I visited here with my pal Charlie. It seems weird to be returning so soon. This time I’m here with my family. My grandmother, Ruby Smith-Sjoberg turned 90 this last week and all of her offspring, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren came out from across the states to honor her.

Most people hate family reunions but its actually been good to get together with everyone that I grew up hanging out with. My dad is from Hodgdon, Maine, and though I’m a California boy a piece of my heart will always be in Maine. If you haven’t visited you HAVE to. It’s a beautiful state with plenty to see and do. There’s a reason it’s called “Vacationland.”
