After missing my midnight train from Santa Cruz and spending a relatively interesting night in downtown SC, I arrived late last night back in good ol’ Southern California. My good friend Josh and his wife Hannah were in town from Denver so I crashed at their folks place (I love you Roxie and Perry) and got a chance to hang with them for a little bit before hitting the sack. I awoke at 5:30 AM (second morning in a row) to head out to Huntington Beach for the US Open. Casio hired me to shoot the event today and tomorrow. They are promoting their new phone (which you can catch a glimpse of in one of the pictures) that is going to be released within the week. They partnered with Hitachi– and its pretty cool. Shock proof and fully water proof. My kind of a phone! I had a great day (though exhausting) shooting the event and thought I’d share some of the highlights here. Thank you thank you thank you Chad Cress for coming out last minute to assist me for the day. You made the insanity not insane.
