Went to a great place with Winn tonight. It’s “Newport Landing” in Newport Beach. There’s a more upscale restaurant there but the thing to know about is the restaurant and bar upstairs that has absolutely phenomenal happy hour specials. Its weird to see such a non-dive place have such great deals. Get this: $3 drinks/entrees at 7 PM on Wednesdays. There are specials for every night of the week but this one is pretty hard to beat. Here’s what I got for $9 bucks: Mai Thai, Hamburger and fries, and a HUGE salad. It was definitely great to hang with Winn. Haven’t seen him in a while.
