About 2 years ago us Long Beach peeps (instigated by Laurel Dailey) started something called Beatnik Night. It varies in frequency, location, and attendees– but its always unique and exciting. I’m always surprised at the various crowds that assemble and the music, poetry, short stories, oddities, etc. that people bring to the table. The rules are simple, (1) contribute (2) respect (3) snap don’t clap. Here are some highlights from this last Beatnik.
