Here I am. Right here at the beginning. It’s taking me far longer then it should have to get this blog up and running. Actually, once I finally went ahead and did it, I was kicking myself for being so far behind the rest of my generation. However, better late then never, eh?

My main purpose with this blog (because it won’t be my only blog) will be to keep my dear friends and family a little more up to speed on the goings on and happenings in my daily life. With all of the hopping about that I do, I feel as though I’m constantly behind on the whole “up-to-speed-upkeep” with most of my family. Hopefully this will help remedy that a little, and, at the very least, help people feel a little more in-the-loop of where I’m going, what I’m doing, and what I think is interesting in my day-to-day living.

With all of the daily journaling that I already do, I’m a little bit nervous about letting everyone in on what has, up until this point, been a private activity. But I think it will be therapeutic, and I’m definitely up for the adventure.

So here I am. Ready or not.
